Other than general World of Warcraft cheats, there are different types of cheats that a player could utilize. Tinkering with the user settings does necessarily count as a cheat but it does allow you to customize your playing style to suit you the best possible way. The best example is to change the keyboard layout to make playing much easier.
World of Warcraft is not a perfect game. It has known to be buggy sometimes and some players use these bugs to their advantage. These are called exploits and could greatly enhance your game as well.
